Reviews From Our Guests

"Better Than Expected"

We ordered the bacon & eggs one morning and it was very good. Our room was facing High St and I thought it would be really noisy but the traffic died down & there was limited noise, we all had a great sleep. Its very close to town, short 10 min stroll. Great stay & would stay again.

"Great Find"

This is one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. Large windows (which could be opened) overlooking a beautiful park . The room was spacious and very clean. Although on the main road into Bendigo it was very quiet. Love the experience and will return.

"Comfy, clean, central... and quite charming too"

The Cathedral Motor Inn caught our eye on a previous trip to Bendigo so when I registered for the O'Keefe Challenge Half Marathon we went and booked a suite here straight away. The handsome red brick construction and central location made it attractive, but upon arrival we quickly found more to like. Our room was spacious, clean and well-appointed. Overlooking a small park, it afforded a pleasant, leafy view which gave a tranquil and cosy vibe to the whole experience. Everything you might want to visit in the centre of Bendigo is within easy walking distance, and there's plenty of parking. An added bonus that I very much enjoyed was the availability of reasonably priced drinks from the fridge in reception - as a cold beer after running 21km is, well, necessary! We loved our stay here and would definitely return.
